Files

It is good practice to name your files with an appropriate naming convention, understandable to your website visitors.

NOTE: when a file such as a PDF, Word document, Excel sheet, etc. is inserted in your page content, the entire filename is inserted automatically. For that reason, it is good practice to remove the file extension (.pdf, .docx, etc.) when you upload the file to the Media centre.

To rename a file in the Media centre

Note that you can make this change after the file has been inserted in a webpage(s) and its name will be updated in that webpage(s).

To insert a file in a webpage

In the Content tab of the page, pull down the Add a pagepart dropdown menu and select File or Download. Select the file by clicking Choose and navigate to the file preloaded in the Media centre. Complete all the fields you wish. Choosing the file is  required. All others fields are optional.

Headings

Can be inserted in your webpage in 2 different ways:

NOTE: Either way, they look the same but if you wish to insert a Table of Contents (TOC)  the headings must be inserted as a heading page part and be assigned Heading 2.

How to insert a Table of Contents (TOC)

The TOC is indicated in the CMS only as the TOC page part. The completed TOC is displayed only on the public webpage.
